Simple Sautéed Mushrooms

Enjoy the texture and deep flavor of this simple, quick sauté. The key is to cook the mushrooms until they are lightly browned. It gives this dish a punch! 

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced into bite size

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 medium garlic clove, chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

1. Heat butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. 

 

2. Cook and stir mushrooms, garlic, salt, and black pepper in the hot butter until mushrooms are lightly browned, about 2-4 minutes. 

 

3. Once mushrooms are tender, remove from heat.

 

4. Sprinkle some chopped green onions or herbs of your choice for extra flavor, and enjoy!
