Umami Popcorn with Mushroom Powder

Have you tried our mushroom powder? It’s packed with Umami, and makes everything taste better! One of our favorite ways to use the powder is to sprinkle some on popcorn. Feel free to add and experiment with different ingredients, such as butter, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, curry powder, nutritional yeast.



  • 1/4 cup popcorn kernels

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • mushroom powder

  • chili powder

  • salt to taste

1. Heat coconut oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.


2. Add the popcorn kernels in an even layer, cover, and cook about 2-3 minutes.


3. When the popcorn is finished popping, dump the popcorn immediately into a bowl.


4. Sprinkle a few light shakes of mushroom powder, a dash of chili powder, and add salt to taste, mix well. Taste, enjoy!
